Wedding Dresses Make Their Entry Into The NFT World

Spanish brand, Pronovias, announced its limited collection of wedding dresses turned into NFTs.

Earlier this week the Pronovias Group announced that at Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week 2022 (BBFW),an international event taking place April 20-24, they will be officially announcing their entry into the NFT world. The announcement excited attendees of the event and left them expectant to know more about the details of the collection. 

At the renowned event, Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week (BBFW), the latest news from the top representatives in bridal fashion for the coming months are announced. It is within this international event that Pronovias will be presenting its first digital collection of three models of wedding dresses in NFT format, specifically on Friday April 22.

The collection is called «Versailles 2023», is designed by Alessandra Riaudo, the artistic director of the brand, and what they seek is a disruptive in the field, hand in hand with innovation and the rise of digital art. The dresses are inspired by the palace of Versailles and plays with different fabrics, textures, shapes and colors to give it that classic and modern touch at the same time. 

«This initiative marks the company’s latest step in its commitment to its digital transformation, as well as the latest breakthrough for a brand that enjoys a legacy within the industry for trying to push the boundaries for its innovation.» – Pronovias via a statement.

Specific details of the NFTs will be communicated this Friday, but it is known that they will be available on OpenSea and the models available for purchase will be called Cadenet, Charlotte and Pompadour. They will undoubtedly be a revolution in bridal fashion and will come to be an additional to that memory that you want to keep forever as it is a wedding and prepares for future events such as weddings in the metaverse. 

This is not the first time we see big brands in the fashion industry adding NFTs to their business model. Pronovias joins brands such as Prada, Mango, Zara, among others that have also announced and launched their NFTs marking a revolution and surely more and more brands will follow this step. 

The Pronovias Group was founded in 1922 in Barcelona, Spain and is a very well known brand in the fashion world and especially in the field of weddings with its magnificent wedding and party dresses.
