Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) launches 10,000 NFT



NFT project will give fans the chance to win tickets for Jay Chou concert in Paris next year

French soccer club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) released 10,000 NFT Tiger Champs on CRYPTO.COM/NFT last week in collaboration with Taiwanese star Jay Chou.

The new collection marks the first association between PSG and CRYPTO.COM, which aims to commemorate PSG’s 10th Ligue 1 championship win last season.

«The club is continuing its foray into the world of NFTs with a collection that combines music and football. We are delighted to see the results of this first collaborative project with Jay Chou, a loyal friend of the club and patron of the Paris Saint-Germain endowment fund. It is the first time that we have made such a large collection of NFTs available to fans of the club and of Jay Chou worldwide.»

According to the press, there will be 3 kinds of NFT algorithmically generated, the rarest ten ‘Tiger Champs Legends’, will each represent one of the ten championships won by France’s most decorated club.

Secondly, there will be 1970 Tiger Champs Premium NFT, which will display ten different player celebrations. At the top will be displayed the French star, representing the ten French championship titles won by the club.

Finally, the other 8,020 standard Tiger Champs NFT will feature the tiger making the «I love you» sign. The series of NFTs will be released exclusively at CRYPTO.COM/NFT starting June 23, 2022. 

This PSG NFT collection is the club’s third NFT-related release, and it is probable that the Club will continue to develop projects related to NFT collectibles and the Metaverse in the future.
