In its latest announcement, next generation record label, 10:22PM, named Hit Boy and James Fauntleroy as Kingship’s co-executive producers and songwriters, bringing with them a combined musical might spanning multiple decades.

Over the years, the formidable pairing has penned hit tracks for the likes of Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Jay Z, Kanye West and Ariana Grande, which additionally hints at what kind of musical direction Kingship will follow. Therefore, indicating that the troupe of animated apes will sit firmly between the realms of hip hop and pop.

Despite a recent cooling of interest in the general NFT collectibles market, Kingship has continued progressing its vision by recently launching an inspired collaboration with chocolate giant, Mars’ M&Ms brand. Now however, as it heads into the recording studio, the music will have to speak for itself. Therefore, only time will tell if Kingship has what it takes to make it in the brutal world of mainstream music.
