Billboard decided to launch NFts of Christina Aguilera, Madonna and Mariah Carey

Billboard Music teamed with World of Women to create covers of the three artists

Billboard created a series of special covers for their annual issue of Women in Music that feature non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

For this edition Billboard decided to honor three iconic singers of Pop music, Christina Aguilera, Madonna and Mariah Carey. The first of the magazine covers to be released features an illustration of Christina Aguilera with long blonde hair.

The artist who made the illustrations is Yam Karkai, co-founder of ‘world of women’, a collection of 10,000 diverse female NFT avatars, which are now considered true blue-chip NFTs.

All of the NFTs of Karkai are women in bold hues of pink, purple, green, and more.The three artists’ illustrations do not differ all that much in their use of color from Karkai’s earlier works.

According to the company, a portion of the auction proceeds will benefit the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
