With the sale of NFT they plan to fund ‘The Infinite Machine Movie’, a film based on the founder of Ethereum.

Versus Entertainment has partnered with Decentraland and Hong Kong and Singapore-based entertainment specialist Lumiere to develop Non Fungible Tokens (NFTs), for an upcoming film about Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin.

The agreement between the parties will see the film and its NFTs integrated into the Decentraland metaverse.

The Infinite Machine is expected to make its third round of NFT pitches in the coming months, which will allow it to become the first NFT-financed film, counting so far on a $16 million budget.

Adapted from Camilla Russo’s book of the same title, «Infinite Machine,» the film will be written and directed by Shyam Maderago, and produced by Scott, Tom Moran and Vera Meyer of Scott Free, along with Alejandro Miranda of Versus Entertainment.

«We believe Ethereum is enabling a world where users and audiences are now owners and participants, so the film ‘The Infinite Machine’ should be part of that movement and allow the Ethereum community to participate in creating a film about the platform,» Russo mentions.

According to nwsmovdaily.com, Patrice Pujol, CEO of Lumiere said, «We are really proud that a company like Lumiere and a major film like ‘The Infinite Machine’ have chosen Decentraland to develop their experience in order to interact with their fan base in the community. The connection between the films, their communities and The Metaverse is already happening.»

Patrice Pujol also mentions, «This is an issue that can change the way the entire industry develops and promotes its content among its audience and audience.»
