The collection has the support of the footballer’s family

On April 5 DAO MAKER, a growth technologies provider for nascent and growing crypto startups, announced their venture into the NFT space.  For their first launch in the NFT world, they decided to create an NFT Collection of one of the most important soccer players, Maradona.

From its new NFT platform, DAO Maker will debut a collection of 5,000 non-fungible Maradona art tokens, called Maradona D10S.

It will be the first of the footballer to be released with an official license.  The cryptocollection has the support and backing of the footballer’s family, the collaboration is backed by Maradona’s ex-wife, ex-partner and children.

For this NFT collection, DAO Maker will present several profile images of the Argentine soccer player.  The owners of these NFTs will be able to use Maradona’s images as profile photos on social networks that allow it, as in the case of Twitter, or as avatars on Web3 platforms and social networks.

The launch of Maradona’s NFT collection will reportedly take place before the 2022 World Cup takes place in November.

Since the footballer’s death, Diego Armando Maradona’s NFTs have skyrocketed several times their original price.  According to the Blockchain Observatory portal, one of the NFTs listed at 50 euros on the Sorare platform rose to 246 euros after a few hours of death.
