Ducati re-enters the digital world with an exclusive partnership

The motorcycle company announced its ambitious entry into the world of NFT and Web 3.0 in the coming months. 

Ducati announced on July 7 its new partnership to enter the Web 3.0 world with the company that is known for its multiple collaborations with other companies and that is a guide for them in the NFT world, NFT PRO. For this project, Ducati communicated that it will use the Ripple blockchain platform that offers technical support in XRP Ledger (XRPL) and is ultra-fast, low cost, and has zero carbon footprint.

The Italian motorcycle company confirms with this collaboration that it wants to take that step into the digital world and how important is constant innovation for companies. Because of that, it published a press release with a series of Web 3.0 activities that will be developed through new spaces of digital experiences, and NFT collections, among others.

It also represents an opportunity to meet and make ourselves known to a new community of NFT enthusiasts, giving them the opportunity to live unique Ducati-style experiences and collect the digital assets that we will develop exclusively for this new dimension of the brand.»

Ducati considers itself to be a pioneer in the digital environment in the field, in its announcement it refers to the first online sale of a motorcycle on January 1, 2000, and the blog it has created is dedicated to organizing exchanges and discussions about experiences and opinions between Ducati fans and the company’s top management (Desmoblog) or the Ducati Corse riders. 

Social networks and other connectivity systems have provided the opportunity to create mobile applications that communicate with the Ducati motorcycle system, allowing to configure the vehicle, record performance, or follow navigation instructions. The MyDucati app strengthens the relationship between fans and personalizes their experience with the brand.

In addition to the above, the collaboration with NFT PRO represents an evolution towards a digital strategy focused on the passion of the Ducati community and a further achievement for the company in creating new products and services. Ducati will reveal more details of its upcoming projects in the coming months.
