In alliance with the company Web3 Dialectic and Vine Ventures will hold an event where they will exhibit more than 20 pieces of collectibles.

Legendary auction house Christie’s partnered with Dialectic and Vine Ventures to auction NFTs in support of scientific studies related to the legalization of psychedelics for mental health.

Titled ‘Mapping the Mind’ and produced in partnership with Ryan Zurrer, founder of Web3 companies Dialectic and Vine Ventures, the collection’s assets will be auctioned individually and all proceeds will be donated to the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS).

This organization has been researching the potential uses of psychedelics since 1986. It is currently leading research into MDMA therapies for the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

The collection will be auctioned at Christie’s and the dates for the event are June 21-28 and will feature more than two dozen NFT psychedelic-themed artworks by some of the most prominent digital artists, including Beeple, Refik Anadol and Mad Dog Jones.

Notably, Christie’s first NFT sale took place in March 2021. Since then, the auction house has continued to move toward digital artworks.

According to «elplanteo.com,» MAPS founder and CEO Rick Doblin said, «Art is often used to integrate psychedelic experiences, transcending language, culture and experience to communicate what words simply cannot.»

On the other hand Christie’s Director of Digital Art, Noah Davis, said, «MAPS is an organization that has benefited an incredible range of people, many of them artists, and I am delighted to know that the proceeds from this auction will go to further its mission.»

About MAPS

MAPS calls itself a «nonprofit educational and research organization focused on developing medical, legal, and cultural contexts for people to benefit from the careful use of psychedelics and marijuana.»

Likewise, since its founding in 1986, the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies, or MAPS, has worked to break down the negative stigma attached to psychedelic medicine when the War on Drugs declared it «public enemy number 1.»

Thanks to scientific and medical studies are showing very promising prospects. And some countries that criminalized psychedelics in the 1970s, including the United States and Canada, are on the verge of granting federal approval for their use in the treatment of a wide variety of health conditions.
