A Venezuelan Governor wants to launch a Dracula-inspired game

The new NFT game seeks to combine culture, educational and economic opportunities

Rafael Lacava, the Governor of Carabobo state, in Venezuela, recently announced a new launch of Non-Fungible tokens (NFTs) and an NFT game, which will be called ‘Dracula Game NFT’. 

During April the governor had shared his intention to integrate into the cryptocurrency ecosystem through NFT, the announcement was made through an interview where he did not want to reveal details.

«We are about to turn Carabobo into the first NFT state in Venezuela. NFT, cryptocurrencies, blockchain and everything that is coming, you will see. I can’t advance everything, but you’ll see,» the governor had said on April 29.

Three days ago Lacava made publications through Twitter and Instagram, where he presented a total of 10 NFTs, among which stands out an NFT with the illustration of a vampire that is obviously inspired by the governor’s image. 

The new game, of which no details or release date have been revealed, will be inspired by iconic places in the state of Carabobo, but with a style set in Transylvania according to the vampire theme that has so far identified the politician.

Dracula Game NFT wants to combine culture, educational and economic opportunities through an interactive, multiplayer and easily accessible game, being a precursor of the use of NFT for social causes of the Venezuelan state. According to MorocotaCoin Lacava points to two interesting aspects in the use of NFTs for Carabobo, such as management and profitability of NFTs.

«The coolest game you can imagine is coming. Stay tuned because we will reach 1,000 operators where they will be able to generate their own resources, while having a good time with a magical NFT ecosystem,» he said.

In addition, he expressed through his instagram account his intentions of venturing into web 3, and the opportunities that could mean for the young generations in Carabobo. «We are trying to encourage the digital economy and thereby boost the productive activity of enthusiasts and entrepreneurs eager for new technologies and decentralized finance.»
