A Leading Company Returns with Intentions to Enter the NFT World

Cromy, a collectible figurine company is changing its core to join the digital market.

The company Cromy had its golden years in Latin America in the 80s and 90s, in those years it commercialized in the market 169 card games, 69 albums of figurines and more than 100 collectibles in multiple formats such as puzzles, toys, among others. In Argentina alone, it had more than 120 thousand members in its club called Cromy Club, positioning itself as a leader in 5 other countries.

Currently, Cromy is betting on the digital market and returns led by the heirs of the company, the sons of Eduardo Stanislavsky, Andres and Tomás Stanislavsky, who perform their duties as CEO and CMO of the company. They seek to immortalize their father’s legacy by opting for blockchain technology and at the same time correcting existing errors that they themselves have been observing within it. 

On its website Cromy is clear about the experience that they aim to offer for users “As Cromy’s heirs, our legacy is to continue and evolve its original mission by democratizing NFTs access and monetization through making them useful as fun to collect with our DAPPster.” 

The strategy they will be implementing is still not very clear, but they have announced to several media that the plan is to democratize access to NFTs, making them more accessible and useful by combining their Storytelling and Gamification solution through NFT Experiences and Mini-games. These will also include the Collect&Play-to-earn modality, which consists of performing challenges and collecting rewards, unique prizes and even an accumulated jackpot. 

All this will be happening on its platform called Cromyverse, which will connect different marketplaces and metaverses and which is announced to be something not yet explored in the NFT world where they have a real utility and can be of greater benefit to its users.
