The funds will go to the organization Save the Children

Yesterday, the Portal Vogue shared Vogue Ukraine and Vogue Singapore’s new ‘Fashion for Peace’ initiative, a work created in collaboration with six different Ukrainian designers and artists seeking to raise funds for humanitarian aid in Ukraine.

According to the magazine, at a time when fashion and art can seem almost frivolous, Vogue seeks to be an agent of change and is especially mindful of the artists and journalists who used to work for Vogue Ukraine.

This collaboration includes works of art, drawings and photographs that will be sold on the OpenSea platform.  NFTs will be available in 50 editions at 0.5 ETH each starting tonight.  The event is scheduled for March 15, at 8:00 p.m.

Among the designers who are contributing their work are Vestido X, Gudu, Proyecto Gunia, Anton Belinsky, Lenki Lenki and Ana Octubre.  All proceeds will be donated to the Save The Children Ukraine charity.

Let’s remember that this was not the first release of NFTs by Vogue Singapore, last year it launched a series of limited collectible NTFs in collaboration with the artists Lanzavecchia + Wai and Dain Yoon.

NFTs have proven their use in various industries and projects and fashion has been one of many.  Specifically, the last month has seen a growing interest in using NFTs in order to raise funds for the Ukrainian population.
