Forgotten Runiverse launches its first playable demo

The NFT Game introduces a native blockchain economy where everything is created by players

Game developer and publisher Bisonic Inc, in conjunction with Magic Machine, released the first playable demo for Bisonic’s upcoming web3 game, Forgotten Runiverse, based on the Forgotten Runes Wizard’s Cult NFT collection.

Forgotten Runiverse will be a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) based on the Forgotten Runes Wizard’s Cult NFT collection, backed on blockchain that allow players to create and mint their own custom NFTs.

The companies expect to release the first finalized version of the game in early 2023.

In the Runiverse, players can create items, houses armor, hunt monsters, participate in quests to discover treasures, collect rare resources, and even mint land to build houses, structures and sell your properties. Each resource used to make an item has its own rarity level, which will give more value to each player’s rare assets.

Our team took a look at the landscape and decided that what’s really important to us is ensuring the community is happy with the experience they have with this game. That’s why we’re excited to have the first playable of the world live today and to reward those members of the community who take the time to truly explore it. We could have launched our mint today, but it’s important to us that the community really gets value out of their participation in the world, so we’re holding off until we can let them really dig into the game and make use of the land that they mint right away,»

According to official announcement, the preliminary version of the game was available from June 20 at 10 a.m. PT and will be open until June 24 at 1 p.m. PT. PT. Users interested in participating in the frog hunt had to register with their MetaMask Wallet.
