A legend joins the «First Soccer Metaverse»

A company called MetaSoccer creates an alliance with Ronaldinho to be its ambassador.

Soccer reaches every corner of the world, and it could not be left out of the metaverse. Marc Cercós, Patxi Barrios and Alex Fiestas took care of that by creating MetaSoccer where people can play to be managers of a soccer team and also have earnings in cryptocurrencies. All this within a decentralized ecosystem and backed on the blockchain thanks to their collaboration with BAYZ.

MetaSoccer announced last April 5 that Ronaldo de Assis, aka Ronaldinho, a soccer legend known for his great participations in teams like FC Barcelona, would be being its first player licensed to play as NFT in its metaverse and made an appearance at the platform’s presentation along with the creators making the announcement official. 

The game has several differences to other sports games, starting with the fact of being able to generate real income, specifically in its own currency called MetaSoccer Universe (MSU), making it a P2E (Play to Earn) game. Another difference is that the platform will continue to acquire important figures in soccer, but the NFT player signed is only from the manager who signed him and there is no other like him. 

Ronaldinho has had a confusing past with cryptocurrencies due to several failed and successful platform and token endorsements, but he will certainly follow this path with this new alliance, in addition to having launched his own collection called Dinho Collection.
