Pride month was celebrated worldwide and Coca-Cola created an NFT collection to celebrate in its own way.

It is a series of 136 tokens launched by Coca-Cola, the world’s largest beverage company, in its NFT Pride collection, or collection of non-fungible tokens, in celebration of LGBTQIA+ Pride month with designs and colors representative of the community. The collection is hosted on the Polygon network, an Ethereum sidechain known for its low fees.

«The limited edition pieces feature an exclusive version of the iconic Coca-Cola bottle with artwork by Rich Mnisi, fashion designer and leading LGBTQIA+ rights activist in South Africa» – Indicates part of the collection description on OpenSea.

A peculiarity of this collection is that the buyer does not know which NFT was obtained until the last moment. To buy, you enter the collection’s website, click on the «Mint» option and pay 335 MATIC, Polygon network currency that today would be USD 134. After these simple steps, you know that NFT was obtained. Another feature is that all the profits obtained will be destined to different charities focused on the homosexual community.

As of yesterday, July 4, 2022, 95 NFT Pride Collection tokens have been issued, which contain elements such as the word LOVE, the flag of the LGBTQIA+ community, and bright colors. Some of them are already being resold on Open Sea and other NFT marketplaces. Another 41 tokens remain to be issued, which will be available to the public at the launch price.
